Background :
Helsinki-based startup Skene has raised €800,000 in a pre-seed funding round to speed up the growth of its AI-powered platform for SaaS companies. The round was led by venture firm Superhero Capital and also saw participation from senior executives at NVIDIA.
Skene develops artificial intelligence agents that analyse a software product’s source code to understand how it works and how users should interact with it. The platform then creates live, personalised guidance that helps users adopt features faster and gain value without heavy support or sales involvement.
The company said the tool aims to close the widening gap between building software and achieving commercial success. Many software products fail to reach full adoption, leaving a large part of the SaaS market underused. Skene believes this “execution gap” leads to wasted time and money for businesses.
Chief Executive Officer Teemu Kinos said many companies still rely on large sales and customer success teams to drive growth. He said AI-native teams now have the chance to automate product-led growth at scale. According to Kinos, Skene’s agents can improve onboarding, feature discovery, and retention with every new product release.
Skene positions its platform as an autonomous growth layer that works directly with a product’s codebase. Its AI agents act as a continuous customer success engine, adjusting guidance as software evolves.
The startup has launched its first agent and plans to support the entire product growth cycle by early 2026. With the new funding, the company plans to pass €1 million in annual recurring revenue and grow its services to support users at every step by spring next year.
Skene said the fresh capital will help it hire new talent, strengthen its technology and increase its presence in the global SaaS market as demand grows for AI-driven product growth tools.
